Ajet Experienced Expat Narrow Body First Officer Advertisement (B737/A320) (November 2024)

General Qualifications

  • Being born after 01.01.1974
  • At least high school graduation
  • Not having received any written punishment due to flight failure or flight indiscipline
  • Not having a criminal record or criminal archive record
  • Incident/Accident Clearence Statement
  • Accepting the place to be shown by AJet as the main base and residing there
  • Not having quitted jobs in Turkish Airlines Inc.or other organizations due to indiscipline previously
  • Not having left Turkish Airlines Inc. and its affiliates due to contract termination previously

Technical Qualifications

  • Hold an EASA/FAA/ICAO CPL/IR (A) with ATPL theoretical credit or ATPL (A) with a valid type rating on the applied aircraft type
  • Having at least 500 hours flight experience in B737 or A320 aircraft type (excluding simulator hours)
  • Flown at least 250 hours in the last 12 months on the applied aircraft type (excluding simulator hours)
  • Logbook pages must be updated and approved
  • Having a valid B737 or A320 type rating

Language Requirements

  • Minimum ICAO LEVEL 4 in English

Health Conditions

  1. Pilot Recruitment Health Criteria
    • Having a valid health certificate issued by DGCA Authorized Aviation Medical Center does not mean that your employment examination has been completed. The latest pre-employment examination to be performed by AJet workplace doctors is essential. Meanwhile, our workplace doctors, who will also look at your past health records and current health file, will decide whether or not you will be started to work as a result of their evaluations. The candidates who have diseases other than the listed ones can send their questions to [email protected]
  2. Having an up-to-date ‘Flightworthy’ Health Report
    1. On the last day of the assessment process’ candidates are required to obtain a report issued from Aviation Medical Centers authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, stating that their health conditions are suitable for flight.

Evaluation Processes for Expat Pilots

Prior to Phase 1 there will be an online document check for the suitability of the candidates. Only the candidates who are fit to the criteria will be called out for the assessments in İstanbul.

PHASE 1

  • Document Check
    The documents requested in the job post such as logbook, licenses, diploma, passport, etc. will be checked.
  • CRM Group Assessment
    Candidates whose documents are approved will follow to a group assessment to determine their CRM.

PHASE 2

  • Simulator Assessment
    The candidates will be tested on their piloting skills with the simulator assessment which includes preflight brief, flight assessment, and post-flight debrief.
  • Company Board Interview
    The interview conducted by HR Specialists and Captain Pilots. The interview will consist questions about candidates backgrounds, experiences and technical knowledge.

PHASE 3

  • Medical Assessment
    Candidates will be sent to a designated private hospital for a thorough medical check which will be expensed by AJet.

Note that plane tickets and hotel accommodation expenses will be provided by AJET.
